This bi-weekly class will explore the fundamentals of construction and tiny house design while working on a Mobile Sauna/Bathhouse and a skid mounted tiny home on a rural small farmstead in the Champlain Valley of Vermont.
Participants will be able to gain hands on skills with power and hand tools while getting experience participating in the construction of a mobile tiny structure. All aspects to make a street legal and road worthy tiny house will be covered as well as how to make a structure on skids and a foundation system. Although this class will focus of tiny house design and construction, many of the skills will translate to future carpentry and design projects.
This unique course will take place over 4 months from June to September of 2017.
Class days are roughly every other Saturday from June through September.
