The subfloor is down! The back wall is framed with 2×6 studs, the rest of the walls will be 2×4

It should take 2 more days of work to finish the framing. Since we’re only able to work one day a week this will take a while. At this point, I’m really relying on help from Seth since I have no idea what I’m doing! I’m hoping I will be able to do more work on my own in the future so the project will move a little faster.

I’m so grateful to my friends who have helped me the last few days by building, babysitting and driving all over the place to pick up windows and doors! I feel so lucky and loved.

I’ve also started shopping for a “normal” house so I have a place to park Little Lou when we’re done building. I kinda fell in love with a house that needs a lot of work – what the heck is wrong with me?! As if I didn’t have enough going on! It’s all a little overwhelming to say the least.
